If you are currently employed or have been employed during the last three years by Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., and you work or worked as a uniformed security guard, you may be entitled to unpaid overtime wages.  

Securitas Overtime Lawsuit

Gibbons Jones, P.C. has been retained by former employees of Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. who allege that Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. failed to pay them for all hours that they worked.  We have interviewed several individuals employed as uniformed security guards or site supervisors who have made similar allegations.  Our investigation has revealed that Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. may be violating federal wage laws by:

-    Requiring uniformed security guards to arrive early for their shifts or stay late after their shifts to execute unpaid pre- or post-shift briefings, sometimes called "Passdowns;" and

-    Failing to compensate employees for off-the-clock hours spent training.

If you are a current or former Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. uniformed security officer who completed unpaid pre- or post-shift Passdowns, you may be entitled to back-wages.

At this point in time, no court has made any determination concerning whether Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is liable for any back pay or damages.
